Version 2026-10-15.informative-8 · public information preview · channel connection activation pending
The public information pages do not start account or channel authorization flows. Requested account features use necessary security cookies; optional trackers are disabled.
An existing Forever Pulse account session is required to request a connection. Starting Twitch or YouTube authorization creates HttpOnly state and return cookies limited to the corresponding account connection paths and ten minutes. They bind the requested authorization to your session and permitted return page and are cleared when the callback is handled. These necessary security cookies are Secure on HTTPS and SameSite=Lax; they are separate from your privacy agreement and the permission you grant at the provider. Blocking them may prevent the requested action. No advertising, analytics or embedded video is added by channel linking.
Sending a message creates fp-chat-visitor, a signed random visitor identifier used to assign your Guest name and limit repeated sends. Its maximum browser lifetime is seven days; it is HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict, scoped to /api/community/chat and Secure on HTTPS. Reading the chat does not create this cookie. Once it exists, your browser sends it with chat requests so the site can show which Guest name is yours, list the whispers you sent or received and notify you of new ones. It is not an account session or advertising identifier. Clearing it changes your visitor identity and you can no longer read earlier whispers; blocking cookies can prevent effective participation. It does not clear already published messages; use the support contact to request removal.
fp-chat-seen in localStorage records the time up to which you have read whispers and announcements, so their notification counter can be cleared. It stays in your browser, is never sent to the site and can be removed through your browser site-data controls.
Public production-domain visits do not require a Vercel account. Vercel can still apply infrastructure security controls under its own policies; restricted preview/deployment URLs retain Vercel access protection. The application does not start, refresh or accept an account session on these public pages. No advertising, analytics, replay SDK, third-party font or video iframe is loaded. The only remote images are the stream thumbnails from Twitch's image server and the game icons from wow.zamimg.com, both described in the privacy notice; they set no Forever Pulse cookie or browser storage.
Choosing English or Français creates fp-locale with the selected language, valid for at most one year, scoped to this site, SameSite=Lax and Secure on HTTPS. Opening a French address of the site (beginning with /fr) is the same choice of Français and creates the same preference. French addresses are always shown in French; without a valid preference the other pages start in English. Collapsing the navigation panel stores pulse-nav-collapsed in localStorage after your action; opened menu groups are kept only in page memory and close when the page is reloaded. Choosing a language also keeps fp-language-return in sessionStorage until the page has reloaded, to return focus to the control you used; it is then removed. Once the site finds you signed in, fp-account-slot in localStorage keeps only the on-screen size of your account button, so the top bar keeps its place while the next page checks your session; it contains no identifier, is never sent to the site and is removed when the site finds you signed out. These choices do not create an account or enable tracking. You may clear these preferences through your browser site-data controls. Legal documents remain in English; interface translation is not an approved legal translation.
forever-pulse:home-favorites:v1 in localStorage contains only the identifiers of up to 25 saved updates, after you press Save update. It is not sent to an analytics service and has no automatic expiry. Remove an update on the home page, use the control below, or clear site data. Clearing saved updates does not clear unrelated browser data. Reading a page does not grant consent to a future tracker.
Public Twitch and YouTube connections remain closed. The channel-cookie description above applies when a connection is offered; reading this page does not start an account session or provider authorization. A new tracker or service requires a reviewed purpose and retention policy and any necessary separate choice before it loads, with easy refusal and withdrawal. There is no artificial consent banner when there are no optional purposes to choose.
There are no advertising, audience analytics, replay or embedded video trackers to accept or refuse. Visiting, continuing to browse or saving an update does not grant consent to a future purpose. There is no consent cookie.
There is currently no optional tracking consent to withdraw. This page remains available from every footer. If a tracker is introduced later, it must stay off until any required, separate consent is obtained, with equally easy acceptance, refusal and withdrawal.
Sign-in and security cookies are used only for account features when available. They are separate from optional consent. Blocking them in your browser may prevent sign-in. Clearing saved updates does not sign you out or delete your account.
Only the identifiers of up to 25 saved updates are stored on this browser, after you press Save update. They are not sent to an analytics service. Storage has no automatic expiry: remove an update on the home page, clear all here, or clear site data in your browser.
